To Be At, as an ‘Operator – Property Manager’, is responsible for the daily management of several modern and high-quality residential complexes located in Amsterdam. We bring together residents, suppliers, and local entrepreneurs with the primary goal of offering residents the highest level of living enjoyment. A high resident satisfaction score is our standard.
Our team of 15 driven professionals serves the various complexes from our headquarters in Amsterdam West. We collaborate closely across different roles to achieve our shared goals.
Our clients are institutional investors who manage residential portfolios, where financial return goes hand in hand with social impact and sustainability. This means we place strong focus on the well-being of our residents.
As a Tenant Ambassador, you are the face of the residential complex and serve residents with a warm and welcoming attitude. Much like a hotel Front Desk, you act as the central point of contact and handle all operational matters throughout the day. You are physically present in the building and are easily approachable for a chat, to answer questions, or to lend a helping hand when needed.
Communication can also take place digitally through our own To Be At App, where you can chat with residents. The app also has a ticketing feature that allows residents to submit repair requests for issues within their apartments or shared spaces. You will review these tickets daily and take the necessary actions, remaining the owner of each issue until it is resolved.
We highly value community building. Connecting residents and local entrepreneurs by organizing events and activities is a key part of this role. Additionally, you will take on tasks related to leasing, such as organizing tours and viewings for potential tenants.
Act as the first point of contact for residents (in person and online)
Focus on continuously improving resident satisfaction
Handle repair requests: log, assign internally/externally, monitor progress, communicate with the resident, close ticket, and follow up on satisfaction
Perform regular building rounds and ensure compliance with house rules
Operational management of service contracts (e.g., cleaning, landscaping)
Post updates and news via the To Be At App and email
Manage bookings of communal areas
Organize viewings and other leasing-related activities
Community building: plan and execute events and social activities
Engage with and collaborate with local businesses

You have a feel for the technical aspects of housing and can manage repair requests confidently
Preferably, you have a background in Facility Management or Hospitality, with affinity for real estate and technical matters
You speak and write Dutch and English fluently
You have excellent social and communication skills
You are proficient in Microsoft Office
You are available for 32–40 hours per week, spread over 5 days (Mon–Fri)
Preferably, you live in or near Amsterdam
